“As a photographer of 30+ years, I don’t like cheap glass. The optics on the product is superb. This is my second one (had one for my iPhone4). The Fisheye is a fun point of view lens, and with a decent wide angle at the ready, single family shots can be had from being in the same room – no need to go in the hallway. The Macro will let you see things you never knew existed, such as individual hairs on a bug. In a world of you get what you pay for, you will never regret spending a few extra dollars to buy the original. The clones don’t seem to have the quality in the area of the glass and coatings, which are critical at 1:1 magnification.” – B. Petersen, Mar 20, 2014

“I absolutely love this thing and have done a full video review of it on my YouTube channel, simpletechrev. The macro shots I’m getting with this are better than I imagined, giving crisp detail, narrow depth of field, and surprisingly nice bokeh (soft background blur) for a little accessory like this. The fisheye lens is lots of fun for landscapes both natural and built. The wide angle is useful for taking shots in small rooms where you can’t backup enough for the shot you want. The lenses are coated multi-part optics for minimal distortion and they are encased in nicely anodized aluminum to match your iPhone. I love it and am probably going to buy some for friends with iPhones who like taking pictures. It’s especially good for people who like to take photos of plants or insects close up.” – Joel S., Apr 24, 2014

“This is a great little gadget for people who love to make pictures but don’t always want to lug a big camera around. I’ve used the product for about a month, and am well satisfied with the wide-angle and fisheye lenses, though I’m still trying to master the macros. With the excellent quality one can achieve with an iPhone 5, the product allows you to capture landscapes and cityscapes that would be impossible with the smartphone alone.” – Diana R., May 16, 2014
