“I’ve used it a few times on hikes and it does fill the bill. The blanket weighs next to nothing and has become a permanent part of my hiking gear. I did practice folding up the blanket at home a couple of times so I would not be fumbling about on the trail; but folding it turns out to be really easy when following the red stitching and I got it to fit back into the cute little attached pocket with no problem.
