Japanese Ume Kombu Tea


This tea powdered blend is made by adding Japanese plum (ume) and natural sea salt from the Seto Inland Sea to seaweed kelp tea (kombu cha). The plum adds a refreshing sour taste to the umami-rich kelp tea and gives it a light rosy color. Ume kombu tea is also naturally caffeine-free and is traditionally consumed as a hot beverage, but it can also be used as a seasoning for cooking.
