Even the most organized people sometimes struggle to keep their desk clutter-free. Kant Desk, by Nils Holger Moormann, was designed with the specific goal of providing simplicity to the user experience of working on a desk. The Kant Desk incorporates a folded rear section that can be used as accessible storage area for books and files that would otherwise clutter our desk. Made out of birch plywood, the desk is made from ecologically sourced materials. The cleverly executed design appears easy to manufacture, with two minimalist color choices of black or white. What makes this design meaningful is that it solves a problem without adding unnecessary design elements to create aesthetic appeal. Modular keyboard tray or drawers, however, would make this furniture a bit more functional.
