#223-A: Place towel on a rice cooker to absorb excess moisture until the rice cools. Excess moisture spoils rice faster. (via Slow Cooker Central) #223-B: Snip off the bottom of the stems and place herbs in a cup of water. Cover loosely with a plastic bag and place in a freezer. Herbs stored this way will last up to 2 weeks. (Simply Recipes)
