Camping Pod Influenced by the Mini Cooper

Some of us are just not suited for camping and the great outdoors. Between the unpredictable weather and the insects, staying indoors just seems to have its own grand appeal. But what if you could combine the comforts and facilities of the home with the beauty of nature? Creative agency Anomaly and Fabian Mazzola of Bitlens Studio have come together to do exactly that. The pod is still very much in concept state, but it’s an exciting idea, nonetheless. The two design teams were inspired by the Mini Cooper F60 Countryman design: smooth and sleek with rounded sides, and very compact. The pods would feature a luxury kitchen, bathroom, and living space that becomes a bedroom at night. The massive wrap-around window would allow ‘campers’ to always have the ultimate panoramic view, even when indoors. And for those who are fearful of changing weather, the pod is built to withstand a multitude of extreme climates. So go ahead, embrace the great outdoors! Well, at least the concept of it, anyways. Until the pod becomes a tangible reality, us bug-fearers will admire the view while nestled safely inside.
