“I received one of these blankets for a wedding gift, a tradition in my husband’s family who are from P.E.I. and I LOVE it! It’s soft, and has gotten softer with time. It’s easy to care for too, it’s preshrunk and can be machine washed. Mine is a natural finish which is supposed to be more durable since it wasn’t treated with dye or high temperatures to set the dye. I think the price is amazing for such a well-crafted item that will last a lifetime. My mother-in-law still has hers and a few she inherited from her mother and they’re in great shape.
