“Eating since my arthritis flared up became not only difficult but depressing. But using the Knork has changed that. Most people cut food with the side of their fork without even thinking about it. But to highly sensitive arthritic hands turning your fork sideways and applying pressure to the thin side causes shooting sharp pains in the finger pressing down. I tried holding it differently but that just made it wobble. Then I had to use a knife along with my fork for the simplest things. My alternatives weren’t very aesthetically pleasing. I could use a brightly colored rubber tube or a foam block. Then I stumbled upon the Knork while I was searching for new flatware that wouldn’t have such thin stems. It sounded too good to be true. But I thought it was worth trying.

So I purchased a package of 4 Knork forks. I’ve had so much fun trying it out on all the food that would have previously given me pain to cut with a fork. Pizza……easy! Roast beef……no problem! Crisp asparagus spears……like butter!!! ” – Maria B., Feb 25, 2013

“These are as versatile as advertised. They won’t replace a steak knife, but for most other uses you won’t need a knife. It’s not heavy, but substantial and well balanced in the hand. Very easy to use as a knife because the sides are very thin, but not sharp. A slight rocking motion does the job. I started out with two of these and saved money by buying the set of four. A good idea, very well executed.” – D. Steiner, Sep 22, 2013
